Everything you need to claim and make the most of your KidSlot listing.
How discovery works
KidSlot gathers public information about local programs from its registered public sources, opening one metro at a time — currently Washington–Baltimore, with new metros added over time. Your organization may already have an unclaimed factual profile.
Claiming your profile
Claiming is free. You verify ownership (a business-domain email, a website token, or a quick admin review — never just a phone call), then correct your details and add your official registration link.
Keeping information accurate
Once your listing is verified you maintain it yourself: description, contact details, location, ages served and your registration link, plus your programs. Your organization’s name and website came from a public source, so changes to those are proposed and a person reviews them — your listing stays as it is until they do.
Measuring results
Provider Pro shows how often your listings were shown, opened and clicked through to registration. These are counts of events, not of families — KidSlot holds no identifier that could tell one family from another here, which is deliberate and is why we do not report "families reached". Nothing about an individual family or child is ever exposed.
Trust + fairness
Paid plans never change organic recommendations. Sponsored placements are always clearly labeled. No partnership is implied for an unclaimed, publicly-sourced listing.
