KidSlot for developers

Live family-activity data, for the assistants and products parents already use

KidSlot keeps a current, de-duplicated catalogue of real children's and family activities — library programs, museum and park events, classes and camps — with age guidance, freshness and links. AI assistants and partner products can read a small, attributed answer from it.

For AI assistants

KidSlot runs a remote MCP server: an assistant asks a family question and receives a few real listings, the total KidSlot found, and a KidSlot link for each, in the same reply.

MCP endpoint
https://mykidslot.com/api/mcp — available (Streamable HTTP, no sign-in)
REST API
/api/v1/agent — available, with an OpenAPI description at /api/v1/agent/openapi
Access
Read-only and anonymous. Up to 5 results per question, no paging, rate limited per caller.
Attribution
“Live family-activity data provided by KidSlot.” with a KidSlot link for each result.

What KidSlot shares, and what it keeps

An answer carries each listing's name, local date and time, place, approximate distance, its age guidance (the organizer's own, or KidSlot's labelled reading when the organizer gave none) and each child's fit, cost, cancellation and when KidSlot last saw it. An answer carries nothing about any family: no accounts, no saved preferences, no children's details. Unknown stays unknown — an unpublished price is never “free”, and registration status is reported as unknown, because KidSlot does not observe it.
